So what color is this dress?
We usually don’t post things like this, but this debate has almost caused a fist fight at the dinner table tonight! I had to go research the science behind all of the different opinions, so here’s what I found:

The image has gone viral, with some people saying the dress is white and gold while others insist it is blue and black. Some people have theorized the discrepancy arises from the way human eyes interpret color in varying degrees of darkness. Supposedly those who see different colors do so because the cones in their eyes aren’t responding to dim light. Some have found that viewing the same photo with different brightness settings changes the colors they see.

I am adamant that this is white and gold, but my guy seems to think that it’s blue and black. We kept coming back to this conversation last night! It seems like more men see this as black and blue and women see it as white and gold. Strange!
