How I scored SPONSORED TRAVEL

About 7 months ago, I found out that my guy and I were invited to a wedding in Cabo San Lucas! Being the savvy traveler that  I am, I immediately began searching for sponsors, branding exchange opportunities and travel deals. After I inquired, our travel agent, put me in touch with a contact at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Resort. I was then directed to the marketing staff and I sent a glorious email explaining who MissNaja  is and why MissNaja should be offered a free stay at the resort in exchange for promotion on my blog!!

Unfortunately, they didn’t email me back. LOL. BUT upon our arrival, Daniel, who swiftly checked us in to our suite, set up a meeting with the marketing manager and me. The rest is A FREQUENT FOREIGN TRAVELER’S DREAM.

When we sat down, I showed the Marketing Manager the email I sent a few months prior. He was immensely apologetic and to make for the miscommunication, he offered me 4 free couples excursions (whale watching, snorkeling, camel ride and marlin fishing). We also got a complimentary photo shoot which will be featured on the resorts’ website.
